He let Darth live. Just stop being stupid for once obi. Which I get he couldn't, but then don't show us him being stupid. Among other things that made no sense.
Not murdering somebody isn't always 'stupid'. We're not all cold-hearted killers like you! :D

‘What a pity that Bilbo did not stab that vile creature, when he had a chance!’
‘Pity? It was Pity that stayed his hand. Pity, and Mercy: not to strike without need. And he has been well rewarded, Frodo. Be sure that he took so little hurt from the evil, and escaped in the end, because he began his ownership of the Ring so. With Pity.’
‘I am sorry,’ said Frodo. ‘But I am frightened; and I do not feel any pity for Gollum.’
‘You have not seen him,’ Gandalf broke in.
‘No, and I don’t want to,’ said Frodo. I can’t understand you. Do you mean to say that you, and the Elves, have let him live on after all those horrible deeds? Now at any rate he is as bad as an Orc, and just an enemy. He deserves death.’
‘Deserves it! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends. I have not much hope that Gollum can be cured before he dies, but there is a chance of it. And he is bound up with the fate of the Ring. My heart tells me that he has some part to play yet, for good or ill, before the end; and when that comes, the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many - yours not least.’

Non chud youtuber breaking down the trailer referencing the wiki and naming the characters. If you're not familiar with the high republic era (like me) it helped.

The assassin lady May (the acolyte?) seems to lose a lot. Speculation she's not a Sith yet just an assassin or whatever.

Red lightsaber probably the master.

Alot of the characters are from other media I'm guessing the high republic books.
One thing I inferred from this trailer: The sith "master" is one of the jedi.

The planet featured looked kind of poor. Maybe May has a beef with the jedi living in luxury whist allowing poverty to continue (Dooku has an issue with this in Tales of the Jedi).

No sign of Yoda or a blue furry teddy bear jedi.

Sure, except that Obi-Wan and Yoda's later advice to Luke amounted to "Yeah, you totally gotta kill this guy. Sucks that he's your dad."

It's the way the Force works. Strike someone down in anger and the Dark Side becomes more powerful. The only win condition is to turn them back to the Light, which is what eventually happens.
But isn't killing Vader (and the Emperor) what Obi-Wan and Yoda train Luke for? Obi-Wan even laments that "the Emperor has already won" when Luke says he can't kill his father.
Semi-ninja'ed by MarkB.

Yoda's plan was that if Luke did not know Vader was his father he would be able to kill him dispassionately. The knowledge that Vader is his father would prevent Luke dispassionately killing Vader. Thus, it doesn't matter who wins the fight, the Dark Side wins and the Emperor takes the victor as his apprentice.

Yoda was wrong, of course. The only way to "destroy Vader" was to turn Anakin back to the light. But then he was never a very good judge of Anakin.

We're talking a guy who killed innocent children and thousands, or maybe entire planets, more. Not some random dude.

Also, gandslf had no issue killing orcs. He fought plenty, and certainly encouraged others to fight and kill their enemies. He didn't at all believe that speech applied to everyone and every situation.
