How long have you been mulling your situation for?

About a month, I think. This time at least. I ended the Witchfire trilogy just before I moved down here, which was nice. I ran that for three months, and had taken a bit of a break before that. This time I think I will take closer to a year off from regular gaming. When I visit my friends in Houston I may run a one shot or something, but no serious campaigns.

I will have to stop by there, should I ever make it to New England.

I very much belive in the paranormal or the supernatural, whichever term you prefer. Most places I have vistited, its just a story. Its interesting, and it makes for a great talk, but when it comes down to it and chills you get are your own nerves reacting to nervousness. Then there ae those places where you know that the world you know was left behind, and you are in someone elses world.

Fun stuff :D
Exactly.

My first thoughts were: Yeah right.

But upon arriving at the spot, we were all silent and there was an unnatural/natural calm to the whole place. No birds chirping, just the wind. We had to trek quite a bit through the woods to get there, too. The treeline stopped in a weird circular shape and you could almost feel that you shouldn't be there and that you were traspassing, like stepping into a graveyard, but not a deathly feeling. Just an odd tranquility.

There are plenty of spots like that scattered all over New England. Especially Massachusetts.

Looks damn cool. :)

I assume it's one of the oldest one in Holland? Looks like it has some class to it not to mention some history to it. ;)

Nope, not the oldest!!
Europe is much older that the us. amsterdam celebrated its 800 birthday a few years back!

I had a seriously nice weekend/ gaming convention in a castle last weekend,. That castle was first build in the 14th century.

Last week I was walking across a wall build by the ROMAN empire.

History is something different around here :D

But the rijksmuseum has a long history, ill see if there is some text about it ( in english) :)
