I'm enjoying it immensely, but this show feels much harder than the other show with similar themes right now: Twisted Metal.
Twisted Metal is freaking amazing because there wasn't much canon to hang off of, and it's doing its own worldbuilding, which is something special.
Fallout feels like a balancing act that has reached the uncanny valley because the rest is so well done that you really notice when they make a decision that doesn't work.
I prefer my Fallout when it's Post-Post Apocalyptic, but the writers feel a need to kick it apart like an Ornary child with a lego tower.

Before you allowed to write Robert Edwin House, you need to see 2 movies
The Aviator
Citizen Kane.
If you don't see either, your not writing House
Your writing the equivalent of Miller's Batman: dubbed Crazy Steve.
I'm going to call him Batshit Bobby.

I will pass full judgment when the season is over.
Since it intrigued me, it obviously did its job.
(Excellent use of Roy Orbison).
