We both know they want to end PC ownership and move us to virtual machines on the cloud. They get to control everything and you can pay extra per month for better graphics.Excellent, maybe not. But at least they still have to put in the bare minimum effort.
With DLSS 5, they won't even be doing that much. And what's worse, with so many developers doing that all at once, everything is going to look the same. AI slop all around.
Even in THAT absolute best-case scenario, you're looking at the real possibility that DLSS 5 will be required for the ideal look to the game. And if you don't have a GPU that can use it (and not even because it's underpowered, but because it's, say, AMD), you're SOL.

more than half I didn't even install as I do not have time to play them yet, but they were on 80-95% discount so I got them for next to nothing.

Which makes having skills (or learning) worthless.But in rubber meets the road, what it really offers is somewhat a democratization of skills that people don't have
You can do a whole bunch of things without assists from technology; the calculation always comes down is the time and effort required worth the personal growth you'd gain in return.Wait what. You can't make up a list of fantasy locations without AI?! I think you should have some more faith in what you can accomplish on your own. You can train creativity but it requires practice — like every other creative endeavour.
