The leather is a 4:1 mix of Vallejo Wood Grain and Orange Brown. If you’re just pairing a large number of minis, you might be perfectly happy with this one application.

The second photo just has some straight Orange Brown stippled on to give it some depth.

Since it’s a single model, I worked on the leather a bit more. I drew lines of a whitish yellow and then black to show wear and tear. I followed that up with a wash of Vallejo Smoke. Once dry, I used Citadel Nuln Oil in some of the recesses.

Remember the guy with the nice face a few posts above? Well he got old fast, I'm on to a new shiny...

3d printed this dino guy (75mm scale), took a good 7.5 hours just for body and then some for the arms and base and am TRYING to paint him half decent... this is what I have so far...

Q: What colour should I paint the "fabric" that is around his shoulders, tail and dangly bit at the front (a dino sporran?)? Also, should I go for a gold for the armour, I was thinking of trying to do a dark jade colour... thoughts?
