What scares me is that by this time with the 3.0 buzz we had a play tester or two post things like "I can't tell you anything about the game.. but it kicks ass" But now we have not seen anything like that from anyone outside of WoTC. Now this could just mean that the NDA is scary tight… But...

After reading this thread I'm more confused then ever about the varied opinions, comments, and insights which all seem to be derived from of possible rumors and facts mostly based off of well crafted and unreadable posts and blogs, though I must admit that some of them where quite entertaining...

I don't know.. I kind of like the fact there are no stats, make its a lot easyer to work into my game.. But I would like to see maps and some additional story info, but its more then encough for me to work off of

Same here… hell, the article has become my inspiration for my 4e Arcanis home game I just started outlining. I just find it funny; because we have been doing social encounters in Arcanis almost from the very beginning of the campaign (3.0) we just had the campaign rule that if you "beat"...

Well, I don't know if its a local thing, but I have been hearing about a total boycott on Hasbro stuff because of their "new" GI Joe initiative (I guess that would include WoTC because they are part of Hasbro). Personally, as a old school GI Joe fan… I may be joining the boycott. I know...

It sucks as a player... Example 1: here we are, playing some Dungeon Craw a few years back (3.0 days) and we clear the dungeon, save the girl, and stop the cult of the dragon from creating a new dracolich. As we walk out of the complex a curse set upon us when we disturbed some skulls kicks...

You would think that after LOTR they would have made dragonlance a live action movie... Instead; we get animation which reminds me of the old school D&D cartoon coupled with cheap computer animation. I’ll be skipping this DVD and reading the books again, thank you.

Ya you can chease it out.. advance them, add something like an item inside one that zombies which not only creates new zombies but has a constant a unhallow effect, give them turn resistance... I think they had mob rules someplace as well.

Very true… while WoTC may not levy a lawsuit against a playtester, they will against another publisher. I think they are just working on the 4e rules set as we speak, once it’s set in stone, I feel confident that we will get a look at the rules, and get to work creating some cool 4e products.

Same here for Paradigm Concepts, no 4e SRD yet. But I'm holding out hope that we do see a copy of the SRD before 4e hits the shelves. I have faith in the guys at WoTC, they are a good bunch of people who do want what’s best for the gaming industry. I think they understand that a strong gaming...
