    Impressions on 3.5?

This sounds like a good house rule.

    Damage Reduction

For most creatures with DR, energy damage will work. The exceptions will be in the monster stat block.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Druid (again)

Re: Ramifications of 3.5 Wildshape / Polymorph You're working with an old version of [i]Polymorph Self[\i] it has been changed twice, it only allows a single shape.

Need clarification on failing saving throws

Saving throws, attack rolls, and spell resistance checks all follow the 1 = fail, 20 = succeed rule. These are all areas that combat luck can make a difference. Skill rolls and ability checks can fail on a 20 and succeed on a 1.

Hold Person vs Boots of Flying

Fly gives the target a flying speed of 90. The flying creature is under all the standard encumbrance rules for movement. Hold Person keeps a target from using their movement, hence no flying while held.

Hold Person vs Boots of Flying

I disagree, it takes as much effort as walking. You can't move while you are held. You wouldn't fall because the spell allows you to hover if you are not actively trying to move.

Does Magic Missle hit regardless of concelment or cover?

With anything short of 100% cover or concealment, MM is auto hit.

    Using Wands

Only for scrolls, no problem with wands.

    Using Wands

Yes you've done it wrong. :D It doesn't matter if the wizard or cleric is of high enough level to cast the spell themselves. As long as they have the potential to one day cast the spell, they can use a wand with the spell in it.

Protection from X spells vs. Mind Control

This is exactly my interpretation. You are still dominated, but must receive verbal commands.

Detect Magic and Glyphs of Warding?

It depends on how you see magic traps work. I would still require the rogue to find the trap (unless he was the mage that id'd it) so he will know how to apply his disable attempt.

Does spell resistance interfere with magic items?

SR never interferes with either your own spells or your items, both are already inside your SR field.

Where did you read about the shortened durations on the attribute buffs?

    Portable Hole

The general rule is a hold over from 1st and 2nd editions.

    Continual Light

I added it back as a standard spell. It works like Daylight but is a level higher and requires a 50gp gem.

    Spellfire wielder

The meaning to requiring a ready action is that a spell caster cannot recharge himself with his own spells. As long as there is another spell caster in the group that is willing to help recharge the spellfire user he should always have his Con in levels stored. If he is planning on having...

    Cheap Favorite Magic Items

I believe they were errata'd to twice the price of a pair of winged boots (around 24k). I don't have my books handy so I am not 100% certain of the price.

    "Noticing" invisible creatures

There is a simpler method, the See Invisible spell is a cone. That means your peripheral vision is not covered, so assuming someone is looking around, the invisible person would be popping in and out of sight.

Arcane Spell Failure from Reading Scrolls?

Re: thanks for the updated shield It is a shield bonus, it will stack with armor but not with AC from a shield (large, small, or buckler).

Losing a level is not fun

This is what I do as well. I also stick them with 1 negative level as long as they do not have enough XP to be their current level.
