    Monstrous Regeneration vs. Harm: possible?

Re: Re: Re: Monstrous Regeneration vs. Harm: possible? Negative and positive energy are indeed energies, hence the name. What they are not is elemental energies that the standard elemental energy protections can stop.

Magic items sold at half price...

I treat magic items as commodities [PHB p.96], therefore they always sell at 80-120% of market price (depending on the buyer).

    Monstrous Regeneration vs. Harm: possible?

Wouldn't, or a least shouldn't work. All the energy forms should penetrate regeneration, they all create damage similar to fire or acid. Negative energy damage destroys either the life force or the living tissue, I don't see how that is any different from fire or acid.

    Fumble House Rule

Fumble System I use a simple fumble system, the check for a fumble after the natural one is a miss against the AC on the fumble check. The effect of a fumble is -2 to your BAB for the next round and the loss of any additional attacks this round.

[Quick!] Need help, what is the max distance one falls in a round?

My rule of thumb on this type of situation is that momentum is conserved within the framework of the spell. If you are falling, you are still falling. If you are still you are still not moving when you come out of the teleport. You ignore momentum caused by the framework of the external...

Number of spells on a scroll debate...ended

I have always played that each scrolled spell is a separate creation. It doesn't matter whether you put each one on a separate scroll or use a long scroll and put on multiple spells, creation time is the same (minimum of 1 day per spell).

    Arcane spell failure outmoded ?

The only reason the ASF still exists is for flaver and compatibility with older editions of the rules. Most people would agree that the cleric is one of the most powerfull classes in the game. In prior editions this was not true, so they got the bonus of wearing armor while casting.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.0 Shield in 3.5

Cover stops AOO, concealment just causes the miss chance. All invisibility spells give concealment not cover.

Cat's Grace: Not a Cleric spell?

I never understood this one either. I have never seen any errata fixing this, I just rule 0ed it over to the cleric spell list. Check with the PbP GM and see if he has made that change as well.

    Spiritual Weapon vs. The Ethereal

The spell specifically says you must have line of sight on the weapon, though I would allow it to attack an unseen target. I would not allow the spell to auto succeed against an unseen target(choose your square, 50% miss). Without magical assistance it is impossible to detect an opponent on the...

    Spiritual Weapon vs. The Ethereal

I know there is a difference. This spell requires both, as does most spells.

    Spiritual Weapon vs. The Ethereal

It stops attacking and returns to your side if you loose sight of it (otherwise known as line of effect). You are directing it so you must be able to target it.

    Invisibility and Bat Familiars

I agree, the wizard cannot see with the bat's blindsight. But the bat can communicate to the wizard where the target is, allowing the wizard to target the correct 5 foot square with area attacks or get the standard 50% miss on rays or other range touch attacks.

    Spiritual Weapon vs. The Ethereal

I disagree, the spell can only attack what the caster can target. The caster must maintain line of effect and sight of the target.

    Deity help

Grumbar is the neutral earth elemental god, one of the earliest references to him can be found in the Manual of the Planes, a reference book for 1E AD&D.

    Reflex Saves & Movement

Simultaneity is difficult to handle in a game, the initiative system is the game mechanic used to simplify the game. Dispite this, everything that happens in a round is occuring at the same time and you as DM are within your rights to spring effects at the end of a round that someone triggered...

    Reflex Saves & Movement

Remember that the initiative system is just for ease of use. Everything that occurs in a round is actually happening at the same time. If the person makes their save then they will move clear of the ice before it forms on their initiative.

Do Flaming and Flaming Burst stack?

This is stacking. The two spells overlap, overlapping spells do not stack. The only reason to have both spells is for dispell protection or to extend the duration because one spell is about to expire.

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Damage Rduction Rules - am i missing something?

I thought it was still going to be like DR 10 /Magic(+2) for DR verses magic. The magic pluses still could matter if the DR is verses magic.
