    Any +0 LA Templates?

It was dragon 306. And I can help with the details as well. http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD3.0Index-Templates.pdf These are the templates you are looking for. They are Racial Variants. All except the "deep" template are LA 0. Also, the necropolitan is LA 0. That's from Libris Mortis.

Dragon #335: Wow. It was relevant!

335 was pretty good, with the ecology and bardic articles, class acts was good as usual (but let's see some of the complete X and psionic classes!), and with some tweaking the cohort article was pretty nifty. I did not like the fiction, but I guess it's here to stay. Also after reading the...

What other boards do you post on/check out?

Let's see I post here, the Rajah forums, The Oratory forums, The HardOCP forum, The Ars Technica forums, The MTGSalvation forums, and the occasional post at the Wizards forums and the Weaponeer group buy forum.

    Next Expanded/3.5 book should be

It wasn't listed, but I would like an updated version of Savage Species. It was written under the transitional ruleset and isn't totally in sync with 3.5. That and the Epic Handbook and I'll be happy.

    Wizards killing products?

I did forget one thing. If a d20 company had Rebecca Guay do illustrations for their work, I'd give them the better artwork nod without hesistation. I'm not a real fan of Wayne Reynolds, but Guay's d&d (and Magic) artwork is absolutely great.

    Monks Underpowered?

All the complaints I've ever heard (from groups I've been in anyways) about the monk all revolve around the monk's damage capability. And all the complaining people had put like a 10 into Strength. Strength is more important than most monk players realize. I always try to emphasize Strength...

    Crystal Shards

Damage Reduction does not apply to Crystal Shard, or any spell/power that does a physical damage type. I'm trying to think which issue of dragon that was answered in. Either the current issue, or the one before it. So it should be in the next faq update.

    Wizards killing products?

I have to agree, I was severely disappointed with the Tome of Horrors. I had really high hopes for it initially.

    Wizards killing products?

My votes would be for Bastion Press's Arms and Armor 3.5, and Chainmail Bikini's Beyond Monks 3.5, The art of the Fight. Both are excellent products, and the art is a bit lacking in the Arms and Armor book.

D&D 4E Who else is going to be a deserter when 4e comes out?

Right now, I can't imagine what could be made better for a new edition anyway, so my current stance is, no I would not upgrade to 4.0 in 6-7 years. But things may change between now and then. The only thing I know for certain is that if it went a to a rules light system, or a full point buy...

What Outsider abilities do plane touched get?

What about the goliath? It's a monstrous humanoid, and in the racial information it even mentions which mirrors the srd information about monstrous humanoids exactly. So I'd say that planetouched definitely get the proficiencies from being an outsider.

    Thoughts on Bards?

Oh yeah, one other feat I forgot. Song of the Heart, from the Eberron Campaign setting. It's really useful whether you are a single or multiclassed bard.

Are there avid gamers out there who hate cons?

Sure, I'll step up. I don't like large groups of people, so I never go willingly to conventions.

    best 1st level psionic powers?

Energy Ray, Crystal Shard, Precognition (Defensive/Offensive), Prescience (Offensive) Energy Ray is useful for many reasons, simple energy damage, breaking objects (sonic), starting fires, and other things. Crystal Shard is useful for unstoppable damage, which is always good. Prescience and...

    Thoughts on Bards?

I've played quite a few bards since 3.0 came out, and I've learned a few things that may help you out a little. Some sample bard character ideas The Sage: Bard focused on information gathering and skill knowledge. Divinations and bardic knowledge are your big strengths. Consider Loremaster...

What monster killed your first PC?

My 1st pc death was about 20 years ago. It was very first character, and I was playing a wizard. Well after the 1st round of combat with a group of goblins, they decided I was the biggest threat and speared my poor (1 hp) wizard into oblivion.

    Players: Your Dream Campaign?

I've always liked the high magic, high fantasy games....but I do have a fondness for Indiana Jones style tomb raids/global intrigue type games. Oh, and always a good balance between combat and intrigue. Both extremes disinterest me. :)

    AC or DR

I like the AC option as it is now. I didn't like the variable ac modifiers by weapon type from 2nd, and I've never really liked the Armor as DR system.

Is there such a thing as an undead troll???

Indeed they do. Regeneration 20 I think.

Do you reequire your players to think?

I voted yes, but with the caveat of, I don't (and have never been in a group that) require my players to recalculate skill points for intelligence loss.
