Bookstore treats D&D books like Playboy

It's particularly amazing because the Bible is a relatively easy book to receive for free (legally).

Your favorite lightsaber duel from the Star Wars saga

P.s. it hadn't really occurred to me until looking at thsi poll just how many more lightsabre duels there are in the original trilogy than in the prequals. Edit: I mean more in the prequals than in the original trilogy.

Your favorite lightsaber duel from the Star Wars saga

I agree with that point, at least in regards to QuiGon and Maul, though maybe not Obi wan. Botton line is, the consequences of that fight were hardly up there with Luke vrs Vader in ESB.

D&D 4E Would you have alignment in 4e?

I think the good/evil axis is a firm part of epic fantasy by many authors, most importantly Tolkien and his imitators.

D&D 4E Would you have alignment in 4e?

Keep Alignment in D&D. It's a useful structure for organizing pantheons, cosmologies, magic, etc. It's also heavily intergrated into D&D already, and taking it out might unravel the great game that we play. At the end of the day I think a lot of gamers don't mind a B&W good versus evil...

    When does Underdark come out?

No, it's a collectable miniatures product. There are a number of offiicial tournaments for DDM (D&D Miniatures).

Obtaining the Game of Thrones RPG

I'm going going to be in the States until November 5 and as I'm in a Game of Thrones campaign currently, I'd really like to pick up a copy of this? Any chance it will be in shops by then?

Tell me about Kingdom of Heaven

I would have rated it as an average hollywood historical epic, not bad, better than several others released recently (not saying much) but not a classic. Good battle scenes comparable to RotK. Took a few historical liberties (that can be viewed as good or bad) but was reasonably accurate on a...

Kickin' it old school -- are you game?

If you're thinging of playing the older editions, just be sure you're doing it for the right reason--the right reason that it will be more fun. Remember that 3.5e is the result of a lot of rules tinkering, player surveys, and playtesting by real gamers in an attempt to come up with an improved...

    Games Plus!

Fair enough :) Honestly, the only reason I commented was this reminds me of a letter to the editor a friend of mine sent to Dungeon waaaaayyyyy back when (in 20s-30s issue range) complaining that his players were buying the mag first at the shop, while he, a subscriber and the DM, got the...

Where you at? Add yourself to the EN World map

We've certainly had (or have at present possibly) some South Africans on the boards. Any country is possible obviously, but I"d say that's the best bet for that continent. I'm so lonely here out east :(

What are the WotC products scheduled for 2006?

Ah, I suppose so. I saw the word 'codex' and imagined something more along the lines of MM4 or FF2. What do we know about this one?

What are the WotC products scheduled for 2006?

Also, would it be fair to guess that WotC have stopped the 'Creature splattbooks' line (Dranonomicon, Lords of Madness, etc) and the Environmental Series? I was looking forward to furhter releases.

What are the WotC products scheduled for 2006?

Merric, did you miss Fantastic Locations: Fields of Ruin (in my post above), or is that being released at a different time? Also, what is the D&D Icons thing about?
