I think it really depends on personal preference. Dragons and Undead might get old to some, and some DMs do not have the time to make adventures and lairs...plus can you really ever have enough? I will not be buying it, I like to make my own stuff or port old adventures, 1e stuff is my bag...

I can't wait myself. For now I have to settle for GGs versions of those classes, which are awesome and IMO WoTC has to do a good job with the Druid, Barbarian, Bard, and Monk to even come close. I sound too serious for this thread, oh well I'm all witted out...especially with that spice girls...

I find Adobe Acrobat Professional and pdfs help me immensely. Pricey but since I use AA8 for work I can justify it. But pregame organization is more than half the battle. I am hoping 4E is better, seems more streamlined...I guess I find out tomorrow night, DMing my first session with 7 PCs:p...

I second the Goodman Games pdf, quite cheap and nice.

I don't recall that Apple Game. Although I played tons of Telengard, which I have a ported version of, and that was pretty early on when everything was "tape" based and took 2 hours to boot up:eek:. I also got hooked on the Bard's Tale Series, SSI's Gold Box stuff, all of these later on and on...

LOL replay value, if you ever finsih it and replay it I will be amazed. I agree with the above poster the 3.5 version is bad. Now the 2nd edition one is great especially if you like to make it your own, that IMO is what it is all about....lots of "fill in the blanks" stuff. I can not recall how...

Just in general I would give the book a 4 out of 5, if you like undead and who doesn't it's a great supplement. Tons of monsters, tons of templates, classics upgraded to the 4th Edition. You have a lot more tools to specialize and even create new undead from scratch. I really am enjoying the...

Between the 4th ED simplicity and OneNote, DMing games is a breeze and we have more time to game. This is an awesome product for almost anyone not just gamers.
