I normally play a cleric in our FR home campaign, and in RPGA. IMHO, THe Divine Disciple route is the way to go. You get an extra domain at first level, your spell level always increases, some really nice saving throw bonuses. And at 5th level the abilities of a native outsider are fun to play...
