Take a two lvl spell casting hit and use the still spell metamagic feat all the time. Then you can dress in full plate np.

Could you just shrink Item on any door? This would seem to bypass Most locks and traps. Would this work?

First off you need a reasonable sense motive roll to notice DC 25. I have fail once or twice. But its in Louis nature. His race is homebrew similar to elf. But you pick a fey, who your bloodline was mixed with. So Louis has a bit of saytr in him. He simply claims that he has no control over it.
