What's the most broken PC you've ever seen in a campaign? Broken, for those that don't know, is a PC that is extremely powerful, usually at low levels, and gets that way by using rules that exist, so they are completely legal, but are completely unbalanced and way, WAY to powerful.
I don't know about "most broken," but my 3.0 Bladesinger often ran around with a 39 AC by 11th level. Also, she could cast any bladesinger spell as a free action as long as she also made a full attack--all day long. Her damage wasn't particularly scary, but when fire giants need a 19-20 to hit an 11th-level character on their first iterative attack, well...that's broken.

We have a guy and all he makes are broken characters.

Arcane archer 3.0 this guy was beyond deadly. I never tried to understand how he could dish so much damage per arrow

14 lvl 3.0 PW. this guy was indistructible, if he was not dispeled. easy average 60 points of dmg a round. Pls extras.

8th lvl pacifist death priest who exudes a aura of calm with a dc18 or 19 will save to be able to perform agressive actions.

Hiya Forceuser... YOu know who I'm talking about

Heh, yeah. In addition to those characters, this guy we're talking about has also designed a psion that could polymorph into a leonal guardinal and use holy word at ninth level. As the DM in that particular case, I was floored--which, of course, was his intent. The worst part is that all of these builds are perfectly legal by the RAW! It should surprise noone to find out that IRL, he's a law school graduate. :p

Most broken PC?

Druid. Any druid. Of any level. In any game of any edition.

Sound biased? Let me explain.

DnD is a group game. Druids, practically by definition, are loners; or at least don't like other people and their wasteful and pullting civilizations. A group game that has players trying to do the loner personality type doesn't work. Something that doesn't work is broken.

So dey.;)

Any barbarian/fighter of large size with a kickin strength wearing 3.0 Rhino Hide. I sure pissed off some DMs back then... double damage on a charge attack - it didn't clarify or anything, just double damage any time you charge. Added the Large & In Charge feat. Ahhh that was fun.

More so then the Thief or assassin? Too very loner classes more so then even the druid.

If you want broken try an Oriental second edition druid (oh yes, we really butchered things in our campaigns), when there were no guildelines for animal companions, which remindes me of a companion of her's named Magic Carp (it gets even worse). He probably had about five hit dice and the only spells he knew were all the summoning spells and Greater Wish (not the other ones) for an unlimited number of times per day. Another one was a 60 foot statue of the Egyptian cat goddess Bast and half cat half human female ranger who liked to kill and eat mice in front of the entire party. Our Druid was about 14th level and had an Intelligence score from six to eight.
In addition we also had a Lawful Good fighter who was also a chaliph and controled a female Jinn named Fatima who could cast an unlimited number of spells per day including Greater Wish. Top that one.

This goes back a while, but I had a friend who ran a 1E dual-classed barbarian/thief-acrobat who, by the time he was about 6th level, was ridiculously hard to throw adventures at that he didn't just laugh at... or maybe I was just inept as DM then? :\

Harm still beats the Hulking Hurler. Especially if you consider that the HH is multiclassing to the point where he is ONLY good at throwing things. The Harm casting Cleric is a Cleric...already a monster. :)

Erm. The basic one, that only does thousands of d6's of damage, has only 3 classes. He uses only one feat and no skill points. He's half human (so he could potentially qualify for able learner). Sure he's banned from MENTAL skills, but that still leaves most of the skill list viable. Finally - the object he throws at you works just as well if he hits you with it in melee (especially since he hits every creature within reach for every attack he takes...).

Finally - he's got no problems with ammo, because he spends his money on a big lead ball enchanted with returning, seeking and ghost touch. A +4 equivalent weapon is below normal equipment levels for a 20th level character. Sure the base amount of lead costs him 5000gp, but that's nothing really.

I'd probably suggest that the rest of his cash should be sunk into magic-counters. Stuff with death ward (oops, totally negated harm there) is a good idea, as is mind blank and proof vs transmutation. Probably spell resistance too. Flight and a method for detecting the invisible and difficult-to-see is a great idea.
Combat reflexes (so that pesky cleric can't close without dying) is probably a good feat too.
