If possible, you could try to have a caster on hand ready to counterspell.

    D&D Minis: What's missing most?

I just want non-random assortment so I can get the minis that I actually want easily. I do not like the collectible nature of the minis because I only use them for D&D, not some miniature game.

Which On-line SRD do you use?

S/S looks much better as I don't like the background in the Hypertext. Also, S/S looks significantly better when viewed on my PDA.

    High level noncombat spells

Disintigrate can be used for mining. Edit - Oops, you said no combat value. If you can find a spell that has no combat value, then you could try to be more creative!

    2 weapon fighting vs. Multiattack

If you consider that a valid use of a level, then it does indeed get you more attacks, but why daggers? 2-weapon fighting goes right along with the multiattack style. Basically, it means that he'll have his attacks at dagger A +14/+9/+4, dagger B +14, bite +11, talon +11. However, he only has...

    Repeat viewings of Movies?

I didn't keep count of numbers of times that I've watched movies until after August 2002, but I'm sure that prior to that, I had watched the following movies at least 10 times: Star Wars Return of the Jedi Indian Jones Lion King Aladdin Since that time, however, I haven't watched any other...

    Firefox- What are the downsides?

My complaints are very slight, but Firefox does slow down when looking at large images. This is not a big problem, and the other features (like Tabbed Browsing) make running it so much more enjoyable.

wizard spells with no somatic component

Andargor's page has a nifty MySQL database for the entire SRD, including the spells: http://www.andargor.com/ A SQL string that would find such would be: SELECT name, RIGHT(SUBSTRING_INDEX(SUBSTRING(level, LOCATE("sor/wiz",level)),',',1),1) AS WizLevel FROM spell WHERE LOCATE("sor/wiz",level)...

    Hardness for a vorpal sword?

Only actual enhancement bonus counts towards extra hardness and hitpoints for an object, not special abilities. So, the Balor's vorpal longsword can be destroyed with that exactly 31 points of damage.

    Is this NPC too tough?

Rogues are too generic to be a non-associated class. Those should really only be used with wizards and sorcerers, since there are plenty of monsters that are tough, but don't have the ability scores to be potent advesaries as such.

    Favorite scenes from cartoons? [spoilers]

Do you mean: But that episode of Beast Wars, "Code of a Hero" (season 2, episode 9), is my absolute favorite episode period. JLU is has been coming close, though. I especially enjoyed the lines from the episode where the heroes are turned in to children. Those were quite funny.
