Also, figure out how strong the Dragon's Ego is. Some would only assume "nobel" versions of whatever they turn into. Why by a hawk when you can be an Eagle, why be a beggar when you can pass yourselff as a landed nobel. Etc.

I can only speak for the Druid myself. Both the Desert and the Lion Druid builds would favor someone in this setting. Both from thematic but from mechanicaly benefit.

After picking up the APG when it came out I loved the archtypes for their ease at simulating specalites in each of the class with out requireing vastly different base attack math, or much in the way of diminishing returns. The few additional Prestige Classes seem to fit the same roles the core...

The way I run it is the players run the co-hort in battle with GM veto on any action that would be counter to their thinking. ie. No suicide runs w/out good reason. Etc.

Psionics and Monster PCs. Epic level play would be on my 'Do Not Want' list.

Well, a great deal of changed in the FR setting in the last 100 years. I'd find a book like this would help give me a depth of foes to face.
