So, the free rules pdf is being released the same time as the Starter Set (so I hear). Does anyone know if that is the actual release date, or when the FLG stores get it? It would suck to be able to get the starter set early only to have to wait for the release of the rules two weeks later.

I don't think you're in the minority I have played Forgotten Realms since 1st edition. It WAS as great world. It is too mucked up now with way too many universe shattering events that have happened in the last 150 years. Also, it has too many conflicting lore out there. With this new approach...

Thanks for the imput I thought about the damage being too high but keep in mind that it is a supier light weapon. The rapier would be compareable. I was really going on the wizard article that said to use a ranger and give him unarmed strike with the 1d8 damage, the +3 and the off-hand...

just some home brew feats I'd like feed back on.

even that don't fit most of the effects are based on the weapon but don't follow the ability model. the Silverstep ability has the pole arm effect using dex rather than wisdom which is listed for that weapon.

In the fighter class description it says that certain weapons use different abilities, but in the power descriptions I don't see any indication of that. Am I missing something?

class over ride I love this sheet. i love the fact that you can add powers now, but I still can't add a custom class. Can you activate the class override?

unarmed strike Thanks that's good information. If anyone gets the damage on unarmed stirkes, I could really use that. Also, what if I wanted to get proficient with the sword for the bonuses, is it a group proficiency or a single weapon proficiency. any info on that?
