Pathfinder 2E Trip quadrupedal creatures: are there any penalties?

Hi everybdy, using RAW are there any penalties in PF2when characters try to trip quadrupedal creatures such as wolves, tigers or the like? Many thanks!

Pathfinder 2E I need help to convert a Flaming Sword from D&D 5e to Pathfinder 2e, please!

Hi everybody: I'm trying to convert an adventure for one PC and one DM/GM from D&D 5e to PF2. The adventure is for 1 1st level PC. A GM NPC, an ally of the PC, wields a Flaming Sword, a Sword that is activated with a bonus action and that deals if I'm not wrong, 2d6 (1d8 in a revised version of...

D&D 5E How to get a continuous advantage?

I don't think that, using RAW, a raging barbarian gets advantage on her/his attack rolls... IIRC the barbarian gets advantage on Strength Checks, but not on attack rolls... Maybe using the Reckless Attack Feature?

D&D 5E 5E skills and how to use them

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your work! The Skill System is one of the things I like less of D&D 5e, and I'm always interested in ways to better refine and define it, while maintaining its simplicity. In fact, I'm hoping for some refinement of it in One D&D, but I don't think this is...

Pathfinder 2E Performance: how does this skill work in Pathfinder 2e?

Hi everybody, pretty much what the title says: how does the performance skill work in PF2e, using Rules As Written? I mean, if you're trained in Performance, does it mean that you're automatically trained in singing, acting, dancing, playing all sorts of instruments and things like that? Or do...

D&D 5E Mythological Figures is coming to an end... who do you still want to see?

Sad for this series' ending! Thank you very much for all your terrific work, Mike!

Level Up (A5E) Cultures & Cantrips

Great, thank you so much, Satirical Bard! I'm so excited about this game: as soon as I can I'm going to buy the physical books. It's definetely a project that I'll try to support!

Level Up (A5E) Cultures & Cantrips

Hi everybody, I really enjoy Cantrips, particularly those not directly related to combat. In the Origins Playtest Document, many Cultures (e.g. Cosmopolitan, of Hill Dwarf) gave the characters free access to some Cantrips, just like Presitdigitation or Friends. I'd like to know, if I can ask...

    D&D 5E Latest D&D Errata: Drow, Alignment, & More

Personally, I don't have any problem with the "moral changes", rather, I'm welcoming them. I'm 48, I've been playing D&D and many other TTRPG since 1985, I've got two kids who are becoming very interested in D&D, and I want it to be as inclusive as possible. Is it just a smart commercial move of...

Gate Pass Gazette What content do y'all want from Gate Pass Gazette?

I absolutely agree with this. I'd like having Players' toolkit also about how to play in a low magic campaign, a la Game of Thrones, or in settings in which there's just one kind of magic, be it arcane or divine.

Gate Pass Gazette What content do y'all want from Gate Pass Gazette?

What about versions of "registered" ancestries and races? I mean, there could be Level Up! versions of Kender, for instance? I'd really like to play in the future a Dragonlance campaign with LU, when I buy the books, and I wa just wondering about this.

Gate Pass Gazette What content do y'all want from Gate Pass Gazette?

Yeah, Monks of the Way of Shadows, you're absolutely right! I'd like to see also kind of weird heritages, just like Dhampir, Goliaths, Giants, Treants or even Small Dragons (as featured in one of my all time favourite d20 RPG systems), or kind of animated puppets, which I've seen in at least a...

Gate Pass Gazette What content do y'all want from Gate Pass Gazette?

As soon as I can I'm going to buy the physical books, since I'm really interested in Level Up!, From Gate Pass Gazette I'd like: New Classes, not necessarily focused on combat and dealing damage, or on magic. I'd like Level Up became a sort of toolkit, much like what WOIN, was, that allowed...

    D&D 5E Bard & Arcane Initiate Feat

That's exactly my problem: what does that mean? That the Bard can only cast Thunderwave 1/long rest at its lowest level without using any spell slots? OR doest it mean that the Bard can cast Thunderwave (taken via the Magic Initiate Feat from the Sorcerer Spell List) as above (1/long rest at...

    D&D 5E Bard & Arcane Initiate Feat

Hi everybody: let's say a Bard, variant human, takes at first level the Arcane Initiate Feat, from the PHB. She selects the Cantrips Fire Bolt and Ray of Frost and the 1st level Thunderwave from the Sorcerer list. My doubt is: since it is also on the Bard Spell List, can she cast the Thunderwave...

    D&D 5E Stand Up & Rogue's Steady Aim

If I have understood it correctly, the Rogue can't use Steady Aim (from Tasha's) if she has moved in the same round. Using the RAW, what about if she uses half her movement to stand up from a prone position, remaining in the same "square"? At a first glance, I would say no, she can't use Steady...

Level Up (A5E) Can I buy physical copies of Level Up books from Italy? What about the Shipping Fees?

Hi everybody, pretty much what the title says: I'm thinking of buying physical copies of Level Up books, since overall I'm really impressed by what I'm reading about this game. I live in Italy: will you send phyisical copies of the book also to my Country? Could you approximately tell me how...

Fantasy Craft (I'm late to the party.)

One last thing, at least for the moment: Fantasy Craft is a wonderful toolkit. It really helps you to create the kind of story and setting you want to create and play, much like systems like GURPS, or Champions or Hero System. The Campaign Qualities help you to shape campaigns and worlds the way...

Fantasy Craft (I'm late to the party.)

I'm really in love with this game! My only problem with it it's that it might result as being VERY VERY crunchy, if compared to D&D 5e, mainly because of its many subsystems. I love it because it's at the same time a highly technical & tactical crunchy game, and a very narrative and character...
