Demonic Ideas: Need help with an idea for some demon foes

I don't know anything about Warhammer (including what those minis look like), but here's a few ideas: Slaadesh (if it looks like the prototypical gluttony god- bloated and pig-like: -Demon- nalfeshnee- it likes to dine on souls, perhaps with a few levels of the fiend of corruption PrC (from...

    Pathfinder 1E [Paizo] Dragon #317

Man, you guys are all wrong! Anthropomorphic sea cucumbers and amoeba are the KEWLEST :D ! And the urban druid idea has some precedence. There's the half-fiend in Enemies and Allies and, IIRC, a gnome sewer druid who was abandoned as a young girl in another book I can't remember. Nature can...

    1 player - 2 non-simultaneous characters

Actually, I was thinking a similar idea a few days ago. Basically, having basically the same character (ability scores, etc) but with different versions of the character for the "real world" and the dream world. I think it would be fun having Modern characters using the d20Modern classes in the...

    Dungeon 108 came today!

Hot-diggidy-dog! This sure looks like a great issue! Dark occultic conspiracy sort of campaign (although I never had the original Dark Matter but sounds great)! Another Challenge of Champs (I ran 4 in my previous 3.0 game and the players really enjoyed it as a new experience), and an interesting...

    Demogorgon and Graz'zt Stats

There are alternate stats (not the same ones as in the BoVD) for these demon princes the Creature Catalog people did before the BoVD versions in the Creature Crypt: http://www.enworld.org/cc/creature_crypt/index.php That's probably the best thing you'll get without purchasing the BoVD.

[Green Ronin] Book of Fiends Preview Now Available!

Does the Book of Fiends update only the monsters from Legions of Hell and Armies of the Abyss or does it contain updates the other things from those books, like the thaumaturge and his patrons, the PrCs from LoH, the Fallen template, etc. Also, does it still make mention to the restricted things...

    Gond Follower Prestige Class Help

I assume you mean the Techsmith PrC, correct? SKills: Craft (armorsmithing, blacksmithing, metalworking, or weaponsmithing) 9 ranks Feats: Craft Wondrous Item, Skill Focus (Craft- one of the above) Spells: Ability to cast minor creation (a Sorceror/Wizard spell or a Craft domain (FRCS) spell...

Converting original D&D and Mystara monsters

I second the Humanoid type sugguestion, perhaps giving it a Feline subtype, given the comparable D&D tendency to give the reptile-like kobold and lizardfolk the Reptilian subtype

Spells with a word substituted with "cheese"

Power Cheese- Kill- Works exactly like Power Word Kill, but involves material and somatic components instead of Verbal, the material being a knife and a cheese and the somatic cutting the cheese with the knife.

Stats for a Sea Lion? or a Hippo?

Tonquez is right about the hippo being in the Tome of Horrors. IIRC, there is also d20 modern stats for it in the menace manual.

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

Can the nic'Epona swarm turn and go different ways in subsequent rounds or is it limited to one direction for the whole duration of the stampede?

    Guardian warrior and horse

Here's another conversion from the 2E MC for Mystara. This one needs a little help, especially on the Construction part; I'm not too familiar with how to figure out the stuff for this. I also need help on deciding whether I should give them blindsight or not because the original gave immunity...

Two New Creatures - Shadowswifts & Darkswifts

Interesting. The AC on the latter one should be 20 (+1 size, +4 nat, +5 Dex). How does it enxtinguish any light source when it cannot strike at any corporeal objects with the lightsource due to its darkform ability?

    Conversion- simpathetic

Here's a conversion for the simpathetic monster from the Planescape MCII. Does anyone know where it originally appeared. Also, should the alignment shift ability be mind-affecting? Simpathetic Tiny Magical Beast (Extraplanar) Hit Dice: 1/2d10 (2 hp) Initiative: +2 Speed: 10 ft. (2 squares)...

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

You might, if you want to totally revise the stampede, make it like the lethal shock ability of the shocker lizards, with its damage and save DC depending on the number of creatures involved in the action. But that might be getting it a little too different from the original source.

    Chevall

Chevall Society Chevalls, unlike centaurs, are solitary, individualistic creatures, thought they sometimes may gather together in small groups resembling families. Originating in the grasslands, these shape-changers have moved into newer terrain to promote the wellbeing of nature in general...

    Planescape Converting Planescape monsters

Also, on the CR, if you're deciding to include the standard tanar'ri traits and immunities, you should bump it up from 6 at least by +1. It felt sort of at the high end of a CR 6 monster already. I had the caster level of the Domination be at level 12. The closest comparisons to the visage...

    Planescape Converting Planescape monsters

I gave my version Alertness, but now that I think about it, Improved Initiative might be better so that these undead dopplegangers could quickly kill and assume the form of their prey, essentially getting the drop on them. Stealthy or Persuasive might make for appropriate skill-boosting feats...

    The "Favorite Simpsons Quotes" thread.

Ned Flanders' Kids: Oh, my freaking ears! Ned (taking his family and leaving the restaurant): I would expect such language at a Denny's, but not from a place like this! A good one from a Halloween episode IIRC: (In the dark) Homer: I didn't do it! I swear on this Bible! Marge: That's not a...
