I prefer single player games too. I am too lame at controller twitch to try to be competitive, so havin a good single player campaign in ANY FSP/RPG/Adventure should be important.

This is a good point. I had to print the new feats and related powers and handed them to the players, but you are right. The CB should have allowed for this.

I refluffed 4e Channel Divinity feats with a simple pen. I created Muir's Justice and Thyr's Justice for a Bard's Gate campaign (3PP Necromancer Games, from the 3.x era) by tweaking an existing ChanDiv power and changing the name. 30 seconds. You can go generic with Channel Divinity easily.

In 3.x I had a houserule sheet that was 2 1/2 pages long, but a good full page was character creation stuff and what books were allowable. So basically a page and a half on actual game rule changes.

Personally, I don't mind if there's a generic default setting (preferably closer to GH than FR), just make sure the core mechanics aren't tied to its fluff. Let there be a module for that, then other settings will have their own modules for mechanics and default assumptions, like Iron Kingdoms...
