All the Different Types of Shapechangers

Shapeshifters galore! You gotta love these things, mostly because even though they are all in the same category, they are very diverse-looking creatures.

An Update on my Hybrid List

Somebody asked me not to make an everybody-can-do-everybody else kind of list, and that convinced me. Not only is it more practical, but it is also simpler. Remember, this doesn't include the more specific hybrids like half-fiends and whatnot. Just the basics. What do you think of this...

    I've never heard it said.

All the Different Types of Giant-Kin

Ogres, giants, ettins... oh my! Time for the giant-kin. I'm not sure how this will be set up, but I'm happy either way. I don't know what all falls under this category, so I hope to be pleasantly surprised when Filby's list gets here. :D

All the Different Types of Goblinoids

Ah, goblins and goblin-kin alike. Most of the time they are viewed as nothing but vassals for our rage. But who are these goblins? Do they have lives outside of eating and sleeping and killing? Do they feel as we do? Alas, let's take a closer look at who these little (and not so little) guys...

All the Different Types of Orcs

After the great success of all the classic demihuman races, I thought it might be fun to get to know the more diverse (or grotesque) races of the multiverse. This time, orcs are in the limelight!

All the Different Types of Halflings

Well, the gnome section was short enough, but since halflings were just a fantasy creation to begin with (with no bearing to reality, I mean), I think this list will be the shortest.

All the Different Types of Gnomes

I think we all know the procedure by now. :D Soon, we'll have a nice list of all the major races.

All the Different Types of Dwarves

Remember before, we did the elves, a very complex race to chart because of its diversity. I don't think the dwarf table will be as difficult, since the concept of the dwarf is consistent in almost every mythos. The lack of complexity should also make listing them that much more fun, too. :D So...

    Just out of curiosity...

I know it's impossible for an orc and an elf to breed... but could an elf and a goblin produce offspring? Or maybe an elf and an ogre? Or an elf and a troll...

What Are All the Elementals and Paraelementals?

I've heard of 'em all before, of course, I just don't know where to get an organized list. It's more of just a curiosity than anything else.

Are the Rakastas and Rakshasas the Same Race?

Everyone knows what rakshasas are, but in case you didn't already know, rakastas are the cat-people creatures from Rage of the Rakasta, an old D&D game published in '93. They both look like tigerfolk and their names are too similar to ignore, so were they meant to be the same thing?

W/O Notice, Would It Be Difficult To Differentiate B/W Lycanthropes & Anthropomorphs?

Without Notice, Would It Be Difficult To Tell The Difference Between A Lycanthrope And A Anthropomorph? I always thought anthropomorphs look a little more refined and more natural than the rugged, transforming therianthropes of the lands. What's the official take on the subject aesthetically?

I Must Admit, I Am A Little Lost

Hey guys, I'm new to the D&D scene. I've always been a monster guy. Your site is pretty straight-forward, and I've been here a number of times. I've gotten lost before. I just want access to every single monster made for D&D EVER. Does anybody know how I can go about doing that?
