This morning on the news they were saying they found gunpowder residue on a church that had a clean line of fire at one of the shootings, and they've been checking the tops of buildings across the street from other sites. I think they have a pretty good idea where the shot came from.

I don't know. This guy seems to be a little too smart to do something like that. His shooting locations have been very well chosen for concealment and/or getaway ability. I'm still betting it's a prankster who left the card.

That actually popped into my head this morning when I saw it on the news. :) I personally think someone other than the shooter left it, or else it was a copycat shooting in the first place. Why wait till the 8th (or whatever) shooting to leave a card?

Are they pushovers if you only use the core books, or are they only pushovers if you use supplemental material? I'm sure WotC wanted to keep the book core rules only compatible, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were pushovers for groups that use more books. Of course, the DM should...

Best thing ever invented: 24 hour gaming. Every couple of months, my FLGS would have 24 hours of gaming. They'd keep the store open and recruit people to run games and encourage people to just come in and play. They cleaned up at those. There is nothing better for creating impulse buying...

Well, I once saw an SUV with a liscence plate that sounded out "Nosferatu" and it had a drama sticker on the bumper. I'm thinking LARP'er all the way. :) You could always just request "RPG ###" for a lisence plate.

Well, you can always do what my former FLGS did, take the name from something sitting on the shelf. They became Mayhem Collectibles because of the blurb on the cover of an X-Men comic. (Mojo Mayhem!) The Player's Game Shop? The Stronghold Builder's Game Store? ;) Unknown Games? Exalted Games. :D

I would send her on a treasure hunt, like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, where she has to unravel a clue to find the next clue, etc. You could also give her someone to call if she gets stuck, since it would really suck if she never made it to the "treasure."
