    I can speak to them in common, elvish or dwarvish - I can threaten them with steel. :-) If they don't surrender, we could just fill in the hole - it was nice of them to dig their own grave. :] ooc: Say the last bit out loud in common and see if they respond.

    12+4=14 for Init If I have the initiative or can get to the rope before they get out of the whole, draw the scimitar and sever the rope to prevent them from climbing out easily. ooc - just noticed that weapon finesse didn't bump up my attack bonus with the scimitar - should it have?

    We head north and see if we can follow the tracks. Even though I think that the caravan was ambushed a day or more earlier, I keep my eyes peeled and have my feathered friend scout up ahead a bit.
