As I noted in another post, I didn't want to deal with minions/pets. I have done that a lot in other games and just didn't want to deal with it. I went with lore bard as it allowed me to help support and heal, but also shore up skills the monk and paladin were lacking. Thanks everyone for ideas.

Thank you! We actually don't have much fight unless the person playing the monk is playing (which is rare), or the guy with the barbarian/fighter is able to show up. That was why I was leaning towards sword bard (plus last bard I played was Lore and I feel cheesy doing it again). True another...

Yeah another high charisma character probably would be a bit much. I don't really want to bring in another arcane character since there is the wizard, warlock and Bard in the party. I definitely would entertain a bladesinger if there weren't already three arcane casters. Thanks!

Speaking of diceless games, Everway has a soft spot in my heart. Ran a lot of it back in the late 90's. Still own the boxed set and a copy of the Spherewalker's Sourcebook. Heck have a ton of the cards in a deckbox too!
