    Which d20 books need writing?

Solitaire adventures - why don't any companies make these? There may not be a big market for such, but there is definitely a niche that someone should fill. TSR used to make solo modules and they had an entire series of one player modules as well. That's something else I've yet to see for D20.

    Help Sean Reynold's Cat!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Way to help your fellow man.. You misunderstand me. I don't have any problem with you, or with your auction, or with your cat. What I do have a problem with is the line of sycophants here that would sell their own cat if that would make them friends in some small way with...

    Help Sean Reynold's Cat!

Re: Way to help your fellow man.. My problem with this isn't that he is putting up stuff for auction to pay for his vet bills. The problem is that this gets a bloody press release- http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=9211 We all have problems, but we all don't have the luxury of...

    Help Sean Reynold's Cat!

Hmm, I guess being a freelance game designer doesn't pay very much. Maybe he should consider a day job.

How Do You Get Over All Of The Number Crunching?

Yep, I know how you feel. I Dm'ed a group for a few sessions and got burnt out. It was just too much of a chore. I then started playing around with the idea of going back to Basic D&D and bought up a bunch of basic stuff on eBay. Then I ran across this-...

    [OT] Talisman for... $75??

I would be interested in getting it, but $75 is too much for a game that only comes with 5 or 6 miniatures. The WH and WH40k boxed sets cost that much but they come with around 40 figures or so.

    The Anti-d20 game?

Here's another great reason to take a look at this game- no endless treadmill of splat books! Here's a quote from Shane he posted to the Savage Worlds Yahoo group- http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Savage_Worlds/

    The Anti-d20 game?

Re: Re: The Anti-d20 game? Well, I have never played Deadlands and I don't have the complete rulebook for Savage Worlds yet either. But from what I have read from their website and other places online, I think that their new system will be a big deal. As one who has struggled with trying to...

    The Anti-d20 game?

Great logo, but I don't think Savage Worlds uses d100 either.

    The Anti-d20 game?

Its filtering into stores right now. I ordered mine straight from the company's website though. My LGS (they aren't really friendly) doesn't carry any PEG stuff at all- only D20, WW, GURPS, Paladium, and a couple of others. The first campaign setting, Evernight, should be out in a month or so.

    The Anti-d20 game?

Has anyone here tried out Savage Worlds by PEG yet? It seems to use most every die except for the D20. Apparently it is the d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 system. :D Check it out for yourself here- http://www.peginc.com/SavageWorlds/index.htm

    D&D Risk?!?

Check out the survey on the Avalon Hill website where they state- "We're thinking of producing another Risk game and would like to get your opinion on some ideas." And one of the ideas is: "Risk game set in one of the imaginary worlds from the Dungeons & Dragons game, like Greyhawk, the...

    Just got Basic D&D!!

Could you post a picture of your Bulette? I want to see if its the same one I remember having back around 1975 or so. Damn, I'm old. :)

    D&D for Beginners (new product)

This is a great idea! I just hope that it is complete enough to make into a full blown D20 version of the Basic D&D game. Now we just need them to release an Expert set next year. :D

Question for gamers in Tampa, FL

Thanks for the great answer! :) What a shame that Merlins had to close. I liked the fact that they used to have a lot of rare, used stuff. Oh well, I will have to try to find the Comics Club the next time I am over there. It used to be in Tamarac and I know the owner. He is a very nice...
