1000 Signs you're in GM HELL

264. You tell your players to create whatever characters they'd like to play and you'll work it out. Each of your five players submits the same character: a half-orc monk.
265. After weeks playing the team of half-orc monks, players complain that their characters are not special enough.
266. All your players simultaneously decide to change characters.
267. All your players submit bards as their new characters.

263. You realize that after spending six months playing an extremely complicated D&D game, none of the PCs have any reason to complete their ultimate quest. All of the original PCs have dropped out or been killed.

Oh yea, that's a good one. I've solved this by having the ultimate quest end in ".... or the world will be destroyed."

Unfortunatly the latest variant I have of that was "or every living thing in the world will be turned into undead", and at least one of the players is thinking "cool, how can I help?"

Nice. I took a break in DMing to figure out this very problem. I like the undead scenario.

Or even worse, everyone is turned into elves.

<shudder> :]

when Gm drinks a bit too much and is easily tricked into agreeing with anything. Dosent remember it by the next game. Argues with the players. Players pull out a tape player and replays it to him. Gm cant argue.

268. Your characters agree that anything written on your sheet is what you have.
269. You keep all your PCs online and one of your players hacks the site and gives everyone Kobold Bone Dildos.
270. When the other players ask him to stop, he cracks the site again and changes thier sex.

Yes, very much true.

Did that actually happen?

Sigh, Very close to it. They didn't teleport w/out error. I added that to spice it up.

You would think Epic level character wouldn't mind losing 5 gold. I was wrong.

271- You have been rolling a d12 for the last combat

272- You have hit more often.

Yes this happened to me as well. D20 can't roll or 7 or better, D12 hit 3 times in a row.

106. You draw out the elaborate temple of death on the battle mat and then realize you are using a permanent marker.

273) ... and it's not your battlemat, it's your friend's 8 foot long MondoMat.
