It might be a good idea to do a find for your suggestions on this page to make sure they haven't been mentioned already.
Anime has some great storylines, at least if you adapt them. Plus there's a chance your PCs have never seen it so it'll seem original to them.
66. FLCL - the idea of extremely pecular things happening in a mundane setting, and how it all unravels beautifully
67. Kenshin OVA - Excellent government rebellion story. I've actually got an NPC based off the OVA kenshin (at least in fighting style and philosophies), except he's not quite as good-aligned, being half drow and all
68. Kenshin series - I'm seperating this from the OVA. Tons of sub-series can be made up with this
69. Macross Plus - I can't even begin to describe all the great hooks this has. Off the top of my head: Sharon Apple (maybe a mage is trying something similar), the prototype race with the YF-19, YF-21, and the X-9 can easily be translated into a fantasy setting. And let's not forget the whole idea of a macross crashing into 'earth' and what effects it has on civilization. There's an entire game world setting waiting to happen.
Now the big screen:
69. The Langoliers - This was on the other day and I watched it for a while. It has a setup completely suited for a campaign (though maybe a short one lest the PCs get frustrated).
70. Seven - The ending might need some fiddling with, but can be a great catch-the-killer / who-dun-it. Probably not much combat, but that's not precisely a bad thing, plus it'll have a really dark mood.
71. Dragonheart - The concept at least is pretty cool. This could easily become a very memorable campaign
And my last suggestion for the evening:
72. The Dirty Dozen - I am simply appalled that this hasn't been mentioned yet. So many options, and it works well in those hard-to-control evil campaigns.
