First of all thanks to the organizers for putting together the gameday.

A big round of applause for The Universe and his blast-from-the-past 'Conspiracy in Cabot Cove'. For those that missed it..

Jonathan Higgins (from Magnum PI) had Remington Steele brainwashed to kill Jessica Fletcher so that no one would find out he was really Robin Masters.

Freakin' brilliant.

Also, many thanks to Matthew Cutter, who ran an excellent game of Savage Worlds where colonial mercenaries battled demon-worshipping Hessians.

And finally, thanks to the players of my 'Serenity' game for not only providing me with a chance to play God in the 'Verse, but for taking it easy on me (this was the first time I'd run the system). Not to mention proving that you can never fire a shot and still have fun in an RPG.

It's always a pleasure to get to meet the folks from around here, or see those I've met before again. The fact that I've met a ton of people I'd game with again in an instant is wonderful, but the amazing thing is I've not met anyone I wouldn't game with again. Just a great bunch of people. Can't wait till Spring!

Oh, and for those that asked (which was pretty much everyone that wandered by) the map tiles were from Skeleton Key Games and the ship designs from Ronin Arts. The colony ship map was about 40sq feet of tactical-scale map all told.

I learned that making my pregens gender adaptable like I did with d20 Traveller is a good idea. Queen D spontaneously sex-changed her character, and the female intruder went unplayed because the player who otherwise would have played her despised her girly codename.

I'm sorry, but "Tiny Dancer" just didn't didn't have the ring to it I was looking for. :)

Thanks to everybody for coming, and again thanks to everyone who ran games (especially the Spycraft session, it was a blast). I hope everyone enjoyed themselves; I know I did.

I would like to personally thank everyone who showed. TerpCon was a blast (if a bit exhausting). We played lots of games and raised some money for the club (never a bad thing). Hopefully we can have things on sale next time. We'll definitely be back to let you guys know when TerpCon Spring 2006 is happening (probably middle of April as of now). So thank you again, and I'll see you guys around.

Another thanks for a great setup and delivery by the Terrapin Gaming Club, good work!

I didn't get to socialize as much as I'd hoped, but every table looked like they were having a good time with either tense drama or belly-bursting laughter. I look forward to the next one!

Just to echo what's been said, thanks to all who were at the Gameday, all who helped organize it, all who ran games, and all who brought books for the raffle. Most especially, thanks to the GMs who ran games for me and the players who were in them! I had a great time in both my games (Mutants & Masterminds & Savage Worlds), got to play a few rounds of Fluxx and introduce some new players to the game, and got to see and talk with some people I only see a few times a year. Another great Gameday!
(oh, and thanks to Rasyr for doing all the driving from Charlottesville and back. Next time, I promise I'll know how to drive a standard transmission and I'll do part of the driving...)

That's what you said after the last Game Day this past spring!! :p

Thanks to the guys who played in the morning HARP session, and apologies to those who were slated for the second session that ended up getting canceled for not having enough players.

Thanks to AIM-54 for running a very fun game of Shadowrun (which I got to join into at the last minute).

As always, I got to meet lots of new people and had a major blast overall!!

Well, it's the first chance I've had of commenting since Terpcon so I'll do that now.

To Andrew Beard and Matt Cutter, thanks a ton. You both ran excellent games, much fun was had by all.

Memorable moments - BobotheHobo's characterization of Alexander Van'Ess in the Savage 1786 game. Man that was funny.

To all the other players, thanks. You guys made all the gaming a wonderful experience. Funny how a complete group of "mostly" strangers can get together and have a blast gaming.

I really look forward to the next one.

BONUS - Oh, and I got me a Hardbound copy of HARP during the raffle... I'm already salivating for the next game.

To everyone who played in my TerpCon scenario:

I've tried to PM you, but to little avail. If you'd like to be listed as a playtester when "Damn'd Loyalists!" is published, e-mail or PM me your name as you'd like it to appear.

Thanks!

I received your e-mail and responded if you don't get it let me know.
