All this burger talk reminds me of Big Nick's in NYC, @ w 71st Street.

They have the Sumo burger which is 1lb -- and supposedly tastes great.

I barely wrapped myself around their 1/2 lb burger --- saw the Sumo once
-- so I can't imagine anyone/thing taking down a 15 lber.

But anything made that large is made strickly to be big, no thought is given to how it would actually taste. Why bother eating it, even with frineds? I'd rather have a small, well made burger with lots of flavor that some "thing" that someone decided would be good for publicity and threw together but is made of cheap ingrediants.

Because it's there! Just because!

Seriously though, I agree. I'd rather have a nice, spicy home-made burger than one of those, but it'd be an experience. And, who knows, maybe it'd actually be good.

Right, just a gimmick. I don't see it any different from the pie eating or hot dog eating contests across America and elsewhere.

They did a great episode on King of the Hill where Bill was entering an eating contest and it was a whole lifestyle with Kid Rock, groupies and everything. Very funny stuff.

Josh, quit wasting time at work and get back to typing up our next Story Hour post!!
:D I would have, actually, except that I forgot all my notes about the cast of NPCs on your caravan. Since I didn't want to go back and make up all the details about them again, I figured I better wait on the notes...

There is no way I could ever manage to eat a 15 pound burger all by myself .

Now a 2 or 3 pound steak bring it on. It shall be consumed along with small salad a little bread and a veggie.

The gross part of over eating is it doesn't all get digested properly. Take both your gands and curl them up into a fist and put them together, that is how much food your stomach can likely hold, any extra is pushed into your guts and improperly digested.
