pyk First Post Sep 27, 2003 #11 Only played AD&D once, maybe twice (DM sucked bad, so it wasn't any fun) but I did play a Wizard. I recall that Wizards had to memorize the spells for the day. Casting "free" spells must have been some variant to the game, I guess.
