D&D 5E 2-handed weapons: damage delimma

So I take it you do not allow PCs to enchant items?

Potions, scrolls yes.

Enchanting an item hasn't come up yet.

I might put in a -1 Greatsword or a +0 two handed weapon with a minor ability but I'll be putting in things like flame ongue shortswords.

Daggers, Spears, shortswords, longswords, are probably more common than other weapon types.

Magic handcross bows basically don't exist. They don't seem that common in adventures either.
