20 level+ question

First Post
If a character is a Fighter 10/Rogue 9/Cleric 10 he is way above Epic levels, but not a Epic character. My question is do you still add the base attacks together, the saves together and is there still a cap on the amount of attacks per round (4 if I remember)?

Please Help!

You're wrong here. Although he is below 21st level in any of his classes, he is an Epic character, because his character level is greater than 20. So he should have used Epic advancement rules for the last 9 levels.

According to D&D Epic you need to know the order in which he recieved his levels. Lets make the assumption that he multiclassed his way to that point and didn't start new classes as he went. This means that his advancement looked like the following.
Code:
Level
1 Fighter 1 1	-
2 Fighter 1	/	Rogue	1 0	-
3 Fighter 1	/	Rogue	1	/	Cleric	1	0	-
4 Fighter 2	/	Rogue	1	/	Cleric	1	1	-
5 Fighter 2	/	Rogue	2	/	Cleric	1	1	-
6 Fighter 2	/	Rogue	2	/	Cleric	2	1	-
7 Fighter 3	/	Rogue	2	/	Cleric	2	1	-
8 Fighter 3	/	Rogue	3	/	Cleric	2	1	-
9 Fighter 3	/	Rogue	3	/	Cleric	3	1	-
10 Fighter 4	/	Rogue	3	/	Cleric	3	1	-
11 Fighter 4	/	Rogue	4	/	Cleric	3	1	-
12 Fighter 4	/	Rogue	4	/	Cleric	4	1	-
13 Fighter 5	/	Rogue	4	/	Cleric	4	1	-
14 Fighter 5	/	Rogue	5	/	Cleric	4	0	-
15 Fighter 5	/	Rogue	5	/	Cleric	5	0	-
16 Fighter 6	/	Rogue	5	/	Cleric	5	1	-
17 Fighter 6	/	Rogue	6	/	Cleric	5	1	-
18 Fighter 6	/	Rogue	6	/	Cleric	6	1	-
19 Fighter 7	/	Rogue	6	/	Cleric	6	1	-
20 Fighter 7	/	Rogue	7	/	Cleric	6	1	-
21 Fighter 7	/	Rogue	7	/	Cleric	7	-	0
22 Fighter 8	/	Rogue	7	/	Cleric	7	-	1
23 Fighter 8	/	Rogue	8	/	Cleric	7	-	0
24 Fighter 8	/	Rogue	8	/	Cleric	8	-	1
25 Fighter 9	/	Rogue	8	/	Cleric	8	-	0
26 Fighter 9	/	Rogue	9	/	Cleric	8	-	1
27 Fighter 9	/	Rogue	9	/	Cleric	9	-	0
28 Fighter 10	/	Rogue	9	/	Cleric	9	-	1
29 Fighter 10	/	Rogue	9	/	Cleric	10	-	0
									+16 BAB	+4 EAB
So, you end up with +16 BAB and +4 Epic Attack Bonus.

His saves do the same thing by the way. Every other level above 20 adds +1 ESB to all saves. So, figure out the path you took to get to 20th. Then stop your saves there. At that point your adding a simple +1 ESB every 2 levels.

Yeah, he's an Epic character, but neither an Epic fighter, an Epic cleric, nor an Epic rogue.

After 20th character level (not class level) he starts accumulating Epic advancement to BAB and saves.

What they said. Essentially, there is a difference between being an Epic Character, and a specific kind of Epic character, such as an Epic Fighter or Epic Rogue. It's a subtle distinction, but there you are.
