2006 - Green Ronin returns to adventures with Bleeding Edge line

Okay rob said the two magic words that make certain I'll give this a very THOROUGH look through. "Advanced Beastiary" and "Book of Fiends." I dub this adventure "Good!"

Any chance we'll see some Advanced Races in the next one?

I gotta admit, those were some mighty enticing words for me, too...

I'll certainly take a look at them. I like adventures for my homebrew, especially for the ideas they can generate. And GR stuff has been very good to me. :)

Coincidentally, yesterday I ordered Advanced Players Manual.

Well, I must say, I think the other advanced titles are better, so don't let it discourage you. :)

I have Advanced Bestiary, and that one is really nice. Is the Advanced Gamemaster's Guide good too? How does it compare to DMGII, do they rehash the same general stuff?

*also has the AGMG in PDF* (Thanks GR for putting them in YOUR shop! Makes it much easier to purchase!)

The Player's Guide is easily the weakest of the three but otherwise it's a solid effort all around for Advanced type people to "advance" themselves. Certainly I'm having very high hopes for the Advanced Races and Advanced Classes Guides, based on just the AB and AGMG.

Psion,

Yeah well you and I have similiar tastes Al, so it's not that unusual.

I'll look this over and consider it as a purchase. I must admit, however, I'm sort of turned off by "Bleeding" in the "Bleeding Edge." I know if I saw this in the store, and that was on the front page, I wouldn't even look at it figuring it wasn't aimed at me.

*blink*

Whuh?

"Bleeding Edge" is a common expression; means the same thing as "Cutting Edge."

Guess I'm just not following why that would be an issue...
