I keep wondering whythe Fiendish coxexes get so much fan support, for such a minor niche product. How many people ue devils and demons regularly as BBEGs? I sure don't.

I'm going to have to go with FC: I, just not enough was useful in my game, the demon archtypes was something I was basically using already, and the information about all the layers was interesting, it wasn't really usable. Unless you are the poster directly above me,
how often are you running/playing in the abyss? Meanwhile the FC:II had a lot of immediatly useful stuff, and more suggestions on how devils act on the prime, and easy tie-ins to devilish politics between factions.

All that said, I am very glad these three ended up on top. They would have gotten my votes for the best three from the original list. I may have to go for the PHB2 for the win, some of it was useless, but some of it has had profound impacts on my game.

These are the best three, and they all deserved to make it here.

However, only one of them sees serious use in almost all of my games, DM or player, and that's PHB2. Plus, I love FC2's legion devils -- FC1, byebye.

I don't use them as BBEGs all the time. Sometimes they are the heroes! :D

Seriously, the Abyss pops up in my games at some point always. It is just a question of when. I've ran games where the abyss was involved from 1st level all the way up past 20th.

I'll get more use out of FC1 over the next several years than I will PHB2.
