I voted Basic Game. Too many people come onto the WotC Boards asking questions about D&D and the Basic Game (usually "now what?") when for the same price they could have purchased a Player's Handbook and been good to go.

The best thing about the Basic Game is that you get a set of dice and a few minis. That's just wrong.

I voted for Tome of Battle, because it obsoletes the fighter.

That's fine for a d20 system game, but in dnd, you shouldn't obsolete core classes!

I have nothing against the Fantastic Locations series, it't sjust that the format is fairly useless to me. I generally modify and DM existing adventures (currently Savage tide, with very LITTLE mods) and I simply have no use for this particular type of supplement.

What the hell was Twilight Tomb anyway? That one just slipped by me and I am an avid RPG book purchaser.

I voted Dragons of Faerun because I feel that a book full of statted up dragons is a bit excessive for creatures that so rarely make a regular appearance in D&D as foes nowadays.

Ah yes... a 32 page adventure, and a bit overpriced, considering Dungeon Mag is $7 per issue retail.

Actually, it's not. It's that Dungeon is really underpriced based on what you get.

Ahh, Secrets of Xen'drik, your text doesn't even match your back cover description.

Actually, Secrets of Xen'drik is exactly what I'd want a book about Xen'drik to be like. Xen'drik is supposed to be the semi-blank land for DMs to customize and Xen'drik gives those tools (although there is certainly room for more tools).

Is it any good?
No - It's rubbish. I'll probably be voting for it next round.

The problem with this poll is that I haven't touched a lot of the stuff in here. I'm sure a lot of people are the same. So the middle rounds will probably be full of a lot of so-so products that nobody's voting off because nobody's read them.

Demiurge out.
