One thing I wished they'd covered is the Planar Ally spell and how Channel Divinity will work with multiclassing, especially now that Paladin Channel Divinity seems more in line with Clerics in terms of Progression.
 

Looks pretty solid. I will miss the old DI's "crazy DM fiat" that could give you all sorts of cooky cool abilities, but I will admit this new version looks solid.

I still think the cleric is one of the boring classes in 5e in terms of play but I'll reserve full judgement until I see the spells.
 




The mechanics are solid.

I still want the Cleric class flavor to be more explicit about cultural diversity, including options for a nontheistic sacred.
 


Interesting to note thar Crawford confirms explicitly thwt the PHB writeup will explain how to use Subclasses from prior 5E books with this new chasis, like how to use the mix and match weapon/theory features.
I know some subclasses will slot in fine. Like the Giant Barb from Glory of the Giants.
