Isn't Tiny Hut one of the spells that supposedly makes 5E into "easy mode" because of how it is (or isn't) worded? I have had some clarifying house rules for it since day one, so I don't even remember what the RAW 2014 version says. Any changes?

It's the whole family of 'create an extradimensional space / force cage a few levels early that is immune to everything / invisible / lets people pop in and out' spells that are problematic. It's nothing about their wording, it's their whole existence.

The only change Tiny Hut got was that 'no spells can cross the barrier' is now 'level 3 spells and lower cannot cross the barrier'. You can still create a completely invulnerable bunker anywhere, for 8 hours, or just completely block a passage from anyone but you, etc.

Not a change to a specific spell, but an interesting change is the following (from Treantmonk’s first PHB video):

Page 236 of the 2024 Player’s Handbook includes a section clearly titled “One Spell with a Spell Slot per Turn”, which explains you can only cast one spell with a spell slot per turn. It specifically explains that you can still cast a cantrip.
Can anyone double check the exact wording, and see if that includes pact magic?

I assume so, but worth checking.
Not sure how it interacts with a sorcerer’s Quickened Spell metamagic, without seeing the text on that
That's still a spell slot.

Spells above level 3 can go in and out of it. Still immunity to arrows and melee.

Can't find the exact wording again.
