The Ring of Tuesday: This unbroken silver chain can be dropped on the ground so as to form a 3-ft.-diameter circle. Inside the circle, it is Tuesday.

But beware the cursed form, The Ring of Second Tuesdays

Within the circle of this ring it is actually the Second Tuesday of Next Week and all Oaths, Bargains and Promises (especially those made to one's spouse) your would do on that and other fictional dates come due.

Oil of Ear Coins

This oil when massaged into an ear, allows the user to pull forth 1d4 copper coins from the users ear. These coins disappear in a puff of smoke, when they are rubbed.

Pet Rock.

This is a small unremarkable stone.
A mage or Sorcerer can use it to take over the responsibilities of a familiar.
It grants the advantages from any other familiar the caster names when it is first used. One this power is choosen it cannot be changed for that owner. If raven is choosen then the rock understands one addtional language, but being a rock cannot speak it. The pet rock does not move under its own power. It can deliver touch spells with a ranged touch attack roll (if thrown) it has a range increment of 10'. People dont get as attached to pet rocks as they do to real familiars, if it is destroyed the owner must make a DC 10 fort save or suffer the normal consquences of loosing a familiar.

Edit Empathethic link: the empathetic link allows the owner to transmute feelings and emotions to the pet rock. The only emotion ever transmitted back is a sense of waiting patiently.

Speak with master. Pet rocks have very little to say.

Speak with others of its kind. - only effects non-sentient rock and stone. As such is rarely useful.

Or worse, The Ring of Super Tuesdays

The bearer of this ring will bring his or her party, and any parties within range of hearing, to a halt and make them incapable of actual productive action, while they discuss the merits and downsides of various courses of action, extensively, including the production of various charts and witnesses to support their points of view, and polling of bystanders. The party or parties remain so affected for 1d6+3 months, once every four years.

(In an actual RPG, this item is probably completely unnecessary - it seems like most gaming groups I've seen do this to themselves every now and then. )

Paper of cutting

This cursed piece of paper is enchanted so that when any form of scripture (writing, pictoraphs 'runes etc), or any other forms of alteration (Cutting, folding etc.) occurs the paper violently attacks the user and deals 1d4 points of slashing damage, unless the victim makes a Refl save (DC 22) after one round they take 1 point of Con damage and must sit down.

Socks of Cleanliness - Socks that never begin to stink, get soaked or get dirty, no matter how long adventurers wear them. And hey, it only requires a level 0 spell to make!

Yahooie - time to thread resurrect!

plum(b line) of direction: This small purple fruit provides its eater with an innate and immediate knowledge of the direction "down". Has no effect (except for mildly nutritious) in any region where there is no set "down" direction (eg the plane of elemental air - at least in earlier incarnations, don't really know if that's still true).

telescoping pole (aka Vensin's languishing rope): this 1" diameter pole can telescope to any length between 10" and 10 feet. Unfortunately, the maker did not keep all the parameters suitably in mind and discovered his final creation had the stiffness equivalent to just cooked spaghetti. It's usefulness is further limited by the fact that it takes 5 minutes to complete any transformation.

Chest of cooling: a wooden chest that may be used to chill beverages or store fresh rations without spoilage for twice as long as similarly unprotected food items - ideal for picnics or tailgating at the arena before the big gladiator match.

Empty Book.

This book is perputually empty. anything written in it is magically erased if a page is turned or if it is closed.
""..Now then, you have 24,000 gp on account with the royal treasury."

The knight nods, the plume on his helmet dipping. "And you're sure it will be safe?" He eyes the exchequer warily.

"Not to worry," says the wizard, smiling broadly as he taps the ledger. "I've got it written down for you right here."
