I think you all are thinking too small. The air force dude is going to take over all missile defense stations and launch missiles/nukes at the president. And let's throw in some orbital lasers and an alien invasion.

Air Force One is badass, but I don't think force fields are a part of its defenses.

I don´t think so, either.

But the plane is indeed well defended for a orginally non-military plane - it has missile countermeasures, after all.
(It is/was seriously considered now to equip all civilian airplanes with these devices, too. That would reduce the risk of terrorists to attack them with cheap, hand-held missile launchers and so on. I don´t know if it would serve any good if the plane was hijacked, though...)
