As soon as the baddies handed that guy the metal briefcase, I knew field agents were going to die. As they were closing in on the car, I kept shouting at the screen, "make sure that you get as close to the car as you can, so that the explosion will take as many of you as possible."

On another note, are we taking bets that the new Pres. will declare martial law by the end of the season? This guy's like the Anti-Palmer. I'm still wondering how the ex-pres will get re-introduced.

Anyone else think the kissing bit between Dina(sp) and Beruze(sp) was a little weird. It seemed like she was trying to send him a message of some sort. If this is true, I think it was the door code (since she was right there when Jack punched it in).

Yes, that was very odd, so many happy kisses...but I think you are right...she was trying to tell him something. Or was happy to see him, one...last...time.

Did anyone else think that Marwan had a Dr. Evil moment, when he had Dina shot but kept Jack alive? My wife caught on right away: "Seriously, Dad. I've got a gun right up in my room. I'll shoot him, right now!"

Don't laugh at me, I didn't want to see Dina dead...but giving the cut throat nature of this mission. The softee rules are out. *yeah, been out since the show started *

I didn't get a good look at the gun, but if it was a typical 'clip in the handle' pistol, you can simply pop the clip out and see right away if it's loaded or not. Heck, if you are very experienced in handling pistols, you could probably tell from the weight if it was loaded or not....

Yep, I figure he's either involved (i.e. he wants to pull a Palpatine), which I don't really buy (it just wouldn't work in this country), or it's assassination time!

Yes, but Marwan wouldn't take well to that. She should have just shot Jack, if it's empty (like it was) everything works out o.k., if it's not, you lie to CTU later when it comes up (they were being held by terrorists after all). I suspect had Jack been able to say anything he would have told her to shoot.

Didn't watch this week, out of town for my anniversary. I read the recap here: http://www.fox.com/24/episodes/guide.html (That's for Banshee16) Seems I missed one of the weaker episodes.

Sorry, I do not share everyone's view of Chloe. I cannot stand her and was glad she was gone. Now I'll have to cringe through the rest of the season.
