Ah ha, I knew it!

The bad guy is from Jack's mission in Kosovo, and it ties in with the other attacks on Jack and President Palmer, which we already knew were connected in some way. Who else saw that one coming?

Well, if I recall the producers and/or creators of the show hinted at the start of this season that events would tie back in to season one. Still, even with that forewarning, I like how they are doing it.

An interesting episode. It really began to bring all of the threads together. It's good to see the president actually involved with the virus crisis, finally.

Once again, Michelle wowed me. She's really showing herself as a tough cookie and a good leader. I remeber last season when she seemed like the CTU puppy dog. Much, much improved.

Can we discuss Gael's decision not to kill himself without upsetting Eric's grandmother?

Anyone taking odds on whether Jack actually kills Chapelle next week?

Funny you should mention, because this episode just reaffirms my love of Gael, Michelle, and Chapelle as characters. I think they're probably my three favorite this season.

Gaielle's decision was purely religious. If its a sin, he's not going to do it. He did do a few sinful things along the way, like lying, but the audience knows he is moral and "good", so the decision fits very well with the character. Especially the guilt. Catholics love guilt.
Keifer has hinted that killing Jack off would fit in with the show, and if they did I know I would like to see Michelle in the lead role after him.

Well, the fact that the test to discover if you're infected takes 2 hours to process leads me to believe that Michelle won't be infected. After all, it took Gael less than 2 hours from moment of infection to death. Others will be in the same boat. By the time Michelle's test comes back, she'll know. It seems like an artificial way to build suspense, but my current bet is on Michelle's survival.

But Gael's exposure was far more extreme than anybody else. Yeah, I know, they said the the amount of dosage wouldn't matter, but come on - he had it all over and in him.

And yeah, Michelle is vastly becoming everyone's favorite top field agent. Chase who?
