Leyra

Once the opposition is defeated, Leyra looks around to assess the situation. The cleric then decides to use her last healing prayer on Garrick to get the halfling in better shape.

Afterwards, she takes a look at the slain foes to see if they have anything that will help them on their mission, before taking a moment to recover from the strain of combat.

OOC: Bastion of Health on Garrick (he regains HSV+10); Leyra herself spends a Healing Surge normally, and spends another Healing Surge to fuel the Healer's Sash.

The Digger

First Post
Garrick leaned limply back against the doorway as Leyra's healing energy flowed through him.

"Thank you, Leyra. That was most kind. Now, what can we find about these swine?"

[sblock=HP]Bastion of Health returns Garrick to full health - -1 surge[/sblock]

The fanatic fights to the bitter end!

1d20+17=18, 1d10+6=7

But he misses widely and his sword strikes a glancing blow on the skull of the nearby cart horse. The animal is jolted by the blow, neighs violently and surges forward. The horse tramples the warrior and he gets caught under the carriage. He is carried away into the crowd, screaming bloody murder.

One has to wonder how this clumsy moron ever climbed the ranks of his organization.

"Damned, one less source of information. Bastard. Let's grab the halfling and bring it back to the headquarter. He will speak. Let's not waste time before we bring too much questions." tells Nathan to Kern, putting actions to his words. He find the first thing to bound the halfling hands and then tie them up.

[sblock=OOC]Okay, this was a milestone.

Satus

Leyra 80 /81 [6] AP,SW
Garrick 80 /80 [4] AP SW

Leyra and Nathan actually have 2 AP

Okay, now you have a suspect (Kern and Nathan) and a crime scene (the others).

What do you do?

A quick review of the house shows little out of the ordinary, though who knows what a more in dept look will reveal. But there is one thing that draws all attention; the basement. That's where the Golem came from and it quickly becomes apparent that it's where it was born. It is an horror shot, with spare body parts lying around in vats and an inanimate flesh golem hafl completed on a table. There is also a paraphernalia of ritual components, an occult library and half a dozen empty cells. Whoever worked in this lab was a sick person.

-"Ah. What do you know. Here's my man." Kendrick says, staring at a tiefling head in a jar.

I suggest Nathan and Kern bring back the halfling. Then, we take at least one extra person (a charismatic one) and do the good cop/bad cop acting on the halfling and try to make it talk. If it doesn't work, we leave it in the hand of the bad cop.

"Yes that looks like Akmenos. Did his father say how he came to be missing? A man with connections like his father is not one to be triffled with. I'd say this is a lot more than triffling. I'm assuming that he had hoped you would not bring back his son in a condition like this?" asks Mirage very worried about his sister. Was she abducted for this reason too? It was plainly obvious that these were not political dissidents. Which means that all these devils and golem makers were in league with one of the factions seeking the Consul's chair. But which one would stoop to this?
