So why was Guyel (how many different ways can we spell this?) so rough on Kim? I don't think she could have screwed things up any wor....wait a minute. This IS Kim here

Stop it! Cease! The baton has been passed I believe this season. Kim "I will screw things up" Bauer has relinguished her role to her sweetie, Chase who is now heading into a situation headstrong and very Kim like destined to screw things up.

Look closely at the previews for next week's episodes....I swear in the last preview with Chase, you see the Cougar in the jeep with him.

Well, ordinarily I would have been p.o.ed at such a switch like this, but for some reason it worked and I'm interested in upcoming episodes.

Is it safe to say that the show jumped the shark when the tiger stalked Kim? Both are predators. The only substantial difference is that Kim wasn't wearing a leather jacket or water skiis. Man, I could hear tha ski boat engine revving from half the season away.

Some things will never change on "24":

* Kim being in danger. It's in the actress's contract, I hear.
* Jack coming up with crazy sh-t that shouldn't work, but it does.
* Ryan Chapelle being an a--hole and being the last person to know what's going on.
* The bad guys having infallible intel on CTU, while CTU cannot figure out anything despite an apparently unlimited budget and no restrictions on their search and seizure powers.
* President Palmer setting his jaw and glaring.
