DnD has gone through so many edition changes that they might not have portfolios in 2e, I thought I'd seen somewhere where they did but closest I can find in my brief search is in 3e where they, are noted as patrons of things like greed and lust or secrets.

Even in later editions, it doesn't feel very explicit from what I've seen, but in 1e and 2e they feel more like bureaucratic politicians in charge of the hells rather than patrons of specific aspects of life. It doesn't help that the leaders of the layers have changed between editions, too.

Humans, even in the real world, tend to pick their favorites over all others. Lilith, Lucifer, Asmodeus, Belil, Astaroth, etc., etc., etc. all had their own cults. Some, creepily, still do to this day, but it is what it is. Typically such cults are tiny or just very well hidden and not fully understood by outsiders. Secret societies sometimes pay lip service to this specific devil or that, but mostly they're just edgelords hanging out and using it as an excuse to play black metal and get trashed.

@AuldDragon, just wanted to let you know I finally got around to joining your Monster Mythology Patreon! I am nearing completion of my own exploration of everything Tiamat and I've gotten a small grasp of the time and effort it takes to make these. Keep up the good work - it is very much appreciated! I hope my little bit of support helps and you have a brighter June!

The last of the good archomentals, Sunnis, is the closest thing to a leader the group has. She advocates for a united front against the evil archomentals, but has not yet had much success, especially with the obstinacy of Ben-hadar. To he followers, she is a motherly figure who embodies steadfastness, support, and protection.

Has anyone done a Faiths and Avatars Vecna?
...or the Cthulhu or Melnibonean Mythoi from Deities and Demigods?
The only information I know for sure on Vecna's priesthood is from WGA4 Vecna Lives! and Die Vecna Die, but considering his differing status throughout, they may be inconsistent. VL is also in the Legends & Lore format.

I am not familiar enough with Lovecraft or Elric stuff to do either of those pantheons and I have not seen anything for them either, sorry!

Vecna Reborn from 2e Ravenloft does not add a lot mechanically, the clerical Vecna cultists in the adventure are just evil clerics. Other cultists are fighters and thieves.

The Late 2e Greyhawk Players guide has very little on Vecna as an imprisoned Demigod of Greyhawk

"Imprisoned gods: Tharizdun, Vatun and Vecna are imprisoned. Their priests get up to 2nd-level spells only."
