If the above is the case, it produces the slightly amusing but not terribly serious side effect that no wizards or sorcerers have an affinity for magic (why would they take it when they can already do better).

Good point.

But as first level mage, those three extra spells a day might actually come in handy. And it's a good feat for mage characters where the concept is "incredibly gifted / The Chosen One," same as Spellcasting Prodigy from FRCS.

[Which in turn sounds like the perfect setup for a character who later becomes a mystic theurge --- magic of all sorts has always come as naturally as breathing, even if he lacks the focus of those who had to struggle to learn even the simplist of cantrips. But I digress]

Very glad to see Greater Spell Focus and Greater Weapon Specialization. I like being able to create a truely specialized character. Maybe all my gnome can do is cast illusions...but they are damn good illusions.

Two-Weapon Defense
--Twin Sword Style from FRCS? (+2 armor bonus when dual-wielding...)
Either that or the Off-Hand Parry feat from the class splatbooks ... renamed.

TWF'ers have more options, allowing them to shine at what they do. They should be more balanced toward 2HF'ers now. Several more feats which seem to be made for a fighter, so they won't look so bland at high levels.

If you look closely at the list, you notice that Ambi feat is absent. Most likely they take page from d20 Modern and merge the old version of TWF and Ambi feats into one.

Magical Affinity is prolly from KoK PG. It let's non spellcasters cast a few cantrips per day.
Just cantrips or do we have a choice (arcane cantrip or divine orisons)?

Maybe if they include 0-level spells for Bard (who are known to dabble in magic), perhaps we can select the spells from that list.

I would have liked to have seen Obscure Lore and Extra Music from Song and Silence.

Extra Music pretty much removes the need to progress in bard (unless you're really attached to their spells), since you get new types of bardic music with Perform skill ranks, not levels in bard.

Hopefully this got changed for the revised edition. But yeah, I was sad not to see any more of the "extra" feats like rage, smiting, stunning fist, etc.
