3.5? Bah. 3.0

Even if my friend, the owner of the local FLGS, could order copies of the core books he wouldn't. Ordering copies of books you know will soon be obsolete and risk being stick with them is unwise. Sometimes stores get stuck with unsold product, it happens, but most well-run businesses try to avoid this as much as possible.

Funny how the best way to run a business is to screw the loyal customer. After all the years I've been buying WotC's product, and now they've got the nerve to go and do something like this. They owe me more. I'm entitled to a little consideration. I want my comeuppance, do you hear me? Comeuppance!

There is a Barns and Noble in the Grossmont Shopping mall area here in San Diego. They are very bad when it comes to stocking RPG material in any logical order. They had PHBs with the periodicals and the Monster Manual with the New Age Religion stuff. That, and the DMG was stocked with the graphic novels. The D&D boxed starter set was in with the board games. I dont understand it, but they only had two or three every which way. Borders and/or Waldon Books are good choices for books. Both have a who set of shelves dedicated to D&D (3.0 atm), with Waldons have a bunch of other d20 supplements.

Barns and Noble is great for reading books, but not so grand for RPG material in my experience.

Hmm, I've seen 3.0 books in the gamestores in The Netherlands, so there are still books available. I don't know what they'll do with them (keep them in stock, offer discount or send them back or ...).

Do you mean the ABC or the Gamekeeper. Gamekeeper keeps all his stuff until it is sold (just bought a couple of Alternity things a few weeks ago). ABC on the other makes things "dissappear" after a while, but it does take a while.

On topic, I think you're best bet is internet.

Good luck,

Tata.

Edit: I just realized that despite the fact that Holland is small there are other places outside Amsterdam :). If you're not from around there ignore my post as I am an silly twat :).

You know Tom, your preoccupation with comeuppancy is rather disturbing.
