Andy Collins has been busy answering leftover 3.5 Q&A questions.

A little tid-bit I just enjoyed was that Mass Heal is a 9th level spontaneous-for-good-aligned spell that caps out at 250 hp. Now that's healing!

Other goodies have been that the Eldritch Knight has a fighter BAB and 9 levels of spellcasting, but it does nothing to reduce Arcane Spell Failure on Armor.

Range Increments are the same for medium and small weapons.

Assasins are spontaneous spellcasters now.

All the summon lists have been reworked.

Several spells have changed schools.

Teleportation spells are now Conjuration (Teleporting) instead of Transmutation.

Spells that utilized fear or curses have tended to get shifted to Necromancy.

The power word spells are now Enchantment.

The symbol spells are all either Enchantment or Necromancy.

Monk speed is now expressed as a bonus to speed, rather than a new speed. Thus, all races will increase their speed by the same amount.

GMW (and GMF) now grant a +1 enhancement bonus per 4 caster levels (rather than per 3).

Blindsense and blindsight are now two different abilities.

Blindsense uses nonvisual abilities (like sense of smell or hearing) to perceive things in the world around them. A creature that has blindsense usually does not have to make Spot or Listen checks to pinpoint the location of a creature within range of its blindsense ability, provided that it has line of effect to that creature. There's a little more to it, but that's the gist.

Blindsight is very similar, but is more discerning. It still uses nonvisual senses, but often uses more unusual cues, like sonar, sensitivity to vibrations, keen spell, etc. It fights and moves as well as a sighted creature and things like invisibility, darkness, and most kinds of concealment (not cover) are irrelevant. It also usually does not have to make Spot or Listen checks to pinpoint the location of a creature within range of its blindsight ability. Again, there's a little more to it, but that's the basic idea.

Blindsense tends to be a little more limited than blindsight. Individual creature descriptions discuss what they can do with either sense, as well as how they do it.

I am not sure it fits so perfectly as someone else say. Assassins were masters of plans, not improvvisation, and I think that high-Int + low-Cha was a likely average assassin, who doesn't usually bargain, persuade or talk at all, just kill surgically.

It does make some sense, after all a Teleportation spell could have much more in common with summoning/calling than with transformation of the matter.
