Whoops! Heh heh... actually you're right and wrong as I've just noticed. I do need a 14 to cast 4th level spells... but it's actually my charisma that needs to be it. The only thing that WIS affects a Favored Soul is just the DC of my spells. Everything else is based off of CHA.

I had originally made my 4th and 8th level ability increases as CON, but it looks like I'll need to move them over to CHA instead. Thanx for the catch!

Yeah, and since you are Team Black's only healer, I hope you can cast those spells. (not counting our druid, of course) :D

Note: My elf shudders at the thought of being healed by the power of the Shadow, though.

@ DEFCON1: D'oh! I was reading the entry for Favored Soul and read Charisma, but typed wisdom. :heh:

@ Voadam: Do you have one extra feat? I count 5 + scribe scroll. Shouldn't you have 1st, 3rd, and 6th, then Wizard bonus @ 5th + Scribe Scroll? (4+1) Also, please list your Aasimar abilities (SLA's, resistances, etc) on your sheet.

@ Everyone: I will need you to choose a color for your PC, and also need a bit of art for a token. I use Maptools for tactical combat, so I need to make a counter for each of you. Any kind of art will do.

I'm sure he'll get over it the first time his arm is almost ripped from it's socket by a hill giant. :p

I also find it funny that with the exception of hero4hire... I'm playing on the same team as all my fellow Strahd's RttToEE and past/present stonegod's Expedition to Castle Ravenloft players. Heh heh.

As far as dialogue color... I'll go with a nice Dim Gray in honor of The Shadow.

As far as image for a token... I can go with the symbol of The Dark Six if that works. You can find it on the Wizards website HERE.

Well, Sanne can make cure scrolls (not that a scroll of CLW or CMW will be all that useful, but she can do it :) ), and her UMD should be good enough to be fairly reliable with wands. I'll have to see where she ends up there, though; all her ranks come from her artificer and Windwright Captain levels, and she's losing one of those.

Team Black, our front line consists of a gnome warrior, a swashbuckler, and possibly a druid and a favored soul.

Half of our front line is therefore also our healing.

I think keeping things at range and allowing only one foe to come at us at a time will be a good tactical goal.

Hmm! Two warforged in my group.

I think, with the GM's approval, I may mix in a little Artificer with my fighter levels. For construct healing and some self buffing.

Plus, with UMD, I can help with meat healing too.

I think this sounds like a solid plan. If we can engage the giants at a distance, we should be able to whittle down their numbers before the reach of melee combatants.

I believe I will use GREEN for Aeranduil. It gives him a nice woodland-dwelling elf tone. :D Also, does anyone have a good suggestion for his missing feat?

Asenfel (my warlock) has enough ranks in UMD plus the Warlock class ability to take 10 with UMD even under pressure that he can activate any spell-trigger item automatically. So, he can handle backup healing with a wand or two of lesser vigor or cure light wounds. He's also got Baleful Utterance aka "no clubs for you!" (shatter as the spell, at will; auto-breaks nonmagical weapons that fail their will save) so if he dedicates time to it the enemies will be slightly less damaging as well.

For his color, I'm thinking straight-up red. I'll have to get back to you on art for his token.

Greater rapid shot from Complete Warrior to get rid of the rapid shot penalty is a great archer feat.

Improved Initiative and Iron Will are not bad either.

Improved Precise Shot is good but I'm not sure of the prereqs.

Improved critical on archery is good.

I think there are some favored enemy improvement feats that might work well, I'd check CW for that as well.
