D&D 5E (2014) 30 speed for all! Halflings, Gnomes, Dwarves were feeling left behind?

IF this site were a scientific, representative sample then only 46% agree with you, and there's no granularity to discern whether or not they feel strongly about it.

WHEN I posted that, there WERE TWICE AS MANY PEOPLE WHO WERE FOR SPEED 25 THAN 30, of those who cared, and the rest I ignored because, by their own admission, they don't care. Those are not the people who would buy the game with any greater or lesser likelihood based on whether the speed was CHANGED to 30, since it was 25 before and has been for the past 30+ years since 2nd edition.

My gods, the arrogance and condescension of your past two posts (which I should point out, go unmoderated and unchallenged here). I look forward to laughing then the speeds are published at 25.

Thank you Enworld for largely agreeing with me that 25 should be the default speed. Now the designers should see this poll and cannot claim to go by survey data any more, if they ignore the results.

Be very quiet, we're hunting dragons. Any noise will break my verisimillitude. Dragons have great hearing and will hear us, even though they don't have ears. The blues ones even breath lightning and dragons fly even though their musculo-skeletal systems would never me able to actually take flight.

Yes because 107 votes means something against the unknown number (probably much larger than 107) of surveys they received back.

Read the original post. My problem was that they never polled us after making this stealth change long after the public survey data had been collected.

Don't roll your eyes at me, you're completely off the reservation here. They NEVER polled us about this change, that's why I created this entire thread.

Of course since you don't like the results, you attempt to minimize their importance. Some data is better than no data, all I want is for them to issue an official poll on their own website, or use the results from this one, and revert this stupid change for no reason that nobody asked for.

So; are you going to actually address his points? Namely that you handwaved the math, the poll isn't scientific, and there's a selection bias in any type of poll conducted on ENWorld anyway, meaning that whatever results you think you have are meaningless? Because just saying, "I do this for a living," doesn't address any of those points. In fact, it seriously calls into question how well you do this for a living, given that that's all Statistics 101 type stuff.

It was 2N +/- 1, almost exactly twice as high that day. Do you think I was not paying attention to my own poll? I'm not going to split hairs with someone who is not even interested in D&D Next yet persists in hounding this and other threads on the topic.

That's what reporting posts is for. I'm sure you're stinging after being called out on your own bad behavior, but if you think people are acting inappropriately, report it.

Also? I know this may be hard to conceive, because you've apparently put my opinions into a tiny box, but I am very interested in Next because I'm still hoping it will be a game I want to play.
