Display? Yes. Process? Different issue. You still need the hardware to process 1080P, and it can be hard to find on a 42" unless you're going top shelf.usdmw said:LCDs can't display 1080i. Bottom line, You don't NEED 1080P over I, as TV won't be P and that will be a majority of your viewing eventualy. The P is nice, but 1080I is just fine for 95% of the market.
